  • National ID card
  • Passport
  • Driver’s license
  • Voter’s ID
  • Any government-issued photo ID

3. Proof of Address (Any One of the Following):

  • Utility bill (not older than 3 months)
  • Bank statement
  • Tenancy agreement
  • Any official document showing your full name and address

4. Selfie or Live Face Capture:
We may request a selfie or perform a live video check to match your face with the ID submitted.

  • Only authorized compliance officers can access your KYC details.
  • We will never sell, share, or misuse your data under any circumstances.
  • Your data may be shared only with regulatory authorities if required by law.

⏱️ When Do You Need to Complete KYC?

You are required to complete KYC verification:

  • Before sending or receiving funds on GU Money Transfer
  • Before requesting a GU Virtual Card
  • When exceeding certain transaction limits
  • If flagged by our security system for unusual activity

🔁 Ongoing Monitoring

We conduct regular monitoring of account activities to detect:

  • Unusual transaction patterns
  • High-risk countries or users
  • Suspicious behavior or fraud attempts

Your account may be temporarily suspended or reviewed if flagged during monitoring.

GU Money Transfer adheres to KYC/AML regulations as required by:

  • Bank of Ghana (BoG)
